More than Junk

One aspect most businesses, even some residential places, forget about is the importance of responsible and smart recycling and junk removal. Luckily, one IMS member specializes in this. Junk King Cincinnati and Dayton joined IMS’ ranks in 2016 but the company itself has been operating since 2005.

Junk King Cincinnati and Dayton joined IMS in 2016 not long after it was first opened in 2011 by Pete McCreary. “I love the business of helping others de-clutter responsibly,” Pete shares in his bio on the Junk King Website, “Everything about Junk King helps people. We provide a reasonably priced labor service with hardworking courteous people. We recycle items and material so they don’t go into the landfill. We donate items to local nonprofits, and we provide jobs to those who need them. Everyone wins!”

Since starting his Junk King Franchise, Pete has seen strong growth of his business. One factor could be that businesses don’t have to lift a finger when it comes to removing their clutter. The principal that Junk King started is that you call, you point your finger at the mess, and your local Junk King team will do all the heavy lifting for you. Once the junk is removed, it’s transported to the recycling center Pete also founded so they can process the materials into recyclables, waste, and donatable items. Pete says, “Recycling and donating play vital roles in our commitment to providing our clients with the greenest methods for junk removal. We recycle up to 60% of the junk we haul.”

In addition to helping businesses, Pete wants to help seniors and their families during difficult transition times such as downsizing.
