8" Silver Maple Peppermill with Aluminum Nuggets #2 (P103)

This wooden peppermill was made from an urban Colorado Silver Maple tree. The Maple has nice fiddleback or curly figure although it might be hard to see in the pictures. The curly figure adds to the chatoyance or shimmer as the piece is looked at from different angles and different light reflections. To step it up a bit more I cut a recess near the bottom and filled it with small pieces of aluminum set in silver tinted resin. Clean lines, flowing curves, silky smooth finish, the pictures show the mill from all 4 sides. The mill measures 8" tall x 2-1/2" diameter at its widest point. I use a Deluxe Stainless Steel grinding mechanism which is durable, high quality, requires no maintenance, and is made in the USA. The mechanism will not corrode and should last a lifetime. This mill should only be used with pepper, never salt. The details on my peppermills extend beyond just the outside. The bottom is finished to the same high standards and detail as the rest of the mill. The top turns smoothly and freely - you will never have a squeaky or binding top in any of my mills. The fit between the head and body is perfect - just as you would expect an heirloom should be! Use and care instructions are provided with every pepper mill.
