11-1 / 4" Siberian Elm Bowl with Mussel Shell Inlay (B220)

Beautiful Siberian Elm wooden salad bowl made from an urban Colorado tree. What sets this bowl apart is the groove that I cut in the rim and filled with crushed Mussel Shells and clear resin. You might not be able to see it in the pictures, but if you look closely you can look down through the resin and see shells beneath the surface. The pictures show the bowl from all 4 sides. The bowl measures 11-1/4" x 3-3/8". This is a nice size bowl for salad, pasta, potatoes, veggies, popcorn, whatever you want. Use this bowl as you would any other bowl. Finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil for a durable finish that will last. Danish Oil is a blend of Tung Oil and Polyurethane and is much more durable that Walnut Oil or Mineral Oil that others use. Hand wash only, use and care instructions are provided.
