6-1 / 4" White Ash Bowl Dyed Black with Gold Gilding Wax

This small wooden bowl was made from an urban Colorado White Ash tree. I painted the outside of the bowl black and then filled in the pores with Antique Gold Gilders wax to show off the grain. The inside was left natural wood, and then the bowl was finished inside and out with multiple coats of Danish Oil for a durable and food safe finish. The bowl measures 6-1/4" diameter x 2" tall (think cereal bowl size). Use and enjoy this bowl as you would any other bowl. Hand wash only, use and care instructions are provided.
