10" White Ash Bowl, Textured, with Red Milk Paint (B218)

Beautiful White Ash wooden bowl made from an urban Colorado tree. I used a wire brush on the outside to remove the softer wood between the growth rings, and then painted the exterior with Flag Red Milk Paint. Milk Paint is a non-toxic paint that uses a protein found in milk which is where it gets it's name from. It is food safe, environmentally friendly, and 100% organic. The texturing gives a tactile feel and the red paint gives visual appeal. The texturing was sanded smooth, painted, and then the bowl was sealed inside and out with multiple coats of Danish Oil to give it a food safe and durable finish. The pictures show the bowl from all 4 sides. This bowl measures 10-1/8" x 3". This is a nice size bowl for a small salad for two, side dish of potatoes, veggies, candy, whatever you want. Use this bowl as you would any other bowl. Hand wash only, use and care instructions are provided.
