The Destroyer Dick Beyer Doctor X signed wrestling wrestler

This is a signed 8.5 X 11 inch photo (with no smears or smudges) of The Destroyer who was also known as Doctor X and Dick Beyer. Mr. Beyer played football for Syracuse University from 1950-54 and then coached for SU while in graduate school. He was co-captain on the 1953 team that went to the Orange Bowl. He was also selected as Athlete of the Year for his accomplishments on the football/wrestling teams. He even made it to the AAU National Finals in wrestling. After his college days, he was a T.V. Wrestling Champ in the USA, Canada and Japan. He won championship belts from "Classy" Freddie Blassie, Dick "The Bruiser" and Pedro Morales. He even grappled with the late, great Andre' The Giant!! The photo is a reprint but the autograph is not so The Destroyer signed a reprinted picture. It comes with a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) too which has tons of details from the signing session which was on December 12, 2010 at CollectorFest Monthly in Rochester (Webster), N.Y. from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - I was the promoter.
