Soda Rock Winery Mixed Case

Soda Rock is steeped in history, and if the mossy old stone walls could talk, we’d hear some colorful stories. We strive to honor what has transpired here over the past 150 years in Soda Rock's history with our wines. With a large line-up of Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeaux varietals, Soda Rock wines are big & bold, just like its historic past. This mixed case includes 6 bottles of each of the following wines: 2022 Chalk Hill RSV Petit Verdot Double Gold Medal 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This grape is more commonly found as part of a blend rather than a single varietal, but our Runway Reserve Petit Verdot proves that it deserves to stand on its own. Alluring nuanced aromatics of concentrated dark berries are woven with an inviting mineral essence. The silken entry flows into intense, deep flavors of ripe mulberry, red currant, Black cherry and huckleberry along with traces of violet and herbs de Provence. With some time to air, the firm structure loosens its grip, exposing a touch of rich dark chocolate and a mouthwatering minerality layered into the supple tannins and vanillin oak in this elegant wine. 2022 The General Cabernet Sauvignon Captivating aromas of boysenberry, cherry and black raspberry infused with forest floor fill the nose. The velvety smooth entry and spicy cedar-laced texture frame layers of blackberry pie, Bing cherry, Santa Rosa plum, red currant sorbet, cassis and a trace of orange zest that adds a mid-palate brightness. Robust tannins settle down as the wine opens, exposing lovely oak notes and hints of mocha and vanilla. Drinkable now, this Cabernet’s complexity and elegance will deepen with additional bottle aging. This winery has no shipping restrictions.
