Our estate Gewürztraminer highlights a combination of intense spice cake notes and floral aromatics. A winter-sensitive, yet vigorous vine that needs constant attention to assure the fine flavors of the grape are preserved. Cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks is used to maintain the fruit and floral aromas and flavor of the wine. This wine is racked quickly after fermentation to prevent lees contact, Upon pressing, juice is reserved to add back at bottling to enhance body, aroma and balance of the wine. Ripe tropical fruit and a subtle medium dry finish work together to create a rich palate structure and a deeply expressive wine. Pairs well with lightly seasoned and spicy foods, Asian cuisine, Indian and Thai cuisines, smoked Gouda and Goat cheeses.
